This morning the Hall of City Hall hosted the presentation of the poster for the 5th edition of the Triathlon "Portman Bay".
The event was attended by the Mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez Milan, the Councillor for Sports, José Solano Legaz, President of the Federation of Triathlon, Diego Calvo Valera, President of the Club Nautico de Portman, Blas Isaac Calventus and murciano triathlete, Ricardo Marin Arcis.
All present Mayor thanked the interest shown by this sporting event and support is being given from the Department of Sports.
Besides the mayor it has announced that it will resume the "Duathlon Miner" that was made in October, and has also made mention of the long-awaited regeneration of Portman Bay, to have it as the setting for this triathlon.
The test will take place on Sunday May 8 at Portman, has a distance of 30 km, departing at 10:00 hours and have registered more than 250 triathletes from across the region.
