The Regional Assembly of Murcia will renew its commitment to Holy Week in La Unión
The president of the Assembly, Alberto Castillo, has pledged to continue collaborating with the publication of the magazine Lignum Crucis and to participate both in its public presentation and in one of the major events of the mining Holy Week.
The announcement was made at the end of the meeting held this morning with the elder brother of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Miners, Juan Antonio Pérez Campillo, who has come accompanied by the mayor of the mining municipality, Pedro López Milan, and the secretary of the brotherhood, Rufino Cegarra.
Pérez Campillo has described the interview as a “moment to share our great passion, which is Holy Week,†while the Unionense mayor has highlighted “the commitment of the president of the Assembly with the entire region of Cartagena, and in this case with The Union, in all cultural events that take place.
