MAKE IT KNOWN

That given the situation that is occurring worldwide, due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, (Coronavirus), and in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities of both the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the The Autonomous Community of Murcia, following criteria of responsibility and tranquility to avoid spreading the disease, the La Unión City Council has taken the following measures for immediate application and in principle until March 31, 2020.

MUNICIPAL ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES

• All public social, cultural and sports events organized by the City Council or held at municipal facilities are postponed.

• Sports activities are suspended in the Municipal Pavilions, in the Municipal Sports Center and in the Municipal Pool, dependent on the Sports Department.

• Visits to Museums, Mining Park and Tourism Office are suspended at municipal facilities.

• The Municipal Nurseries of La Unión, Roche and Portmán will remain closed.

The Municipal Library, the Study Room and the Employment Workshop (SEF).

• The buildings will remain closed: Asensio Sáez Cultural Center, Roche Social Center and the Old Municipal Nursery.

• The educational centers of the Municipality will remain closed, according to the statement issued by the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, starting next Monday, March 16.

• The markets are temporarily suspended on Tuesdays in La Unión, Saturdays in Portmán and Mondays in Roche for the next two weeks.

• Regarding administrative procedures, please do so as far as possible, electronically (electronic administration).

As of Monday, March 16, the Document Entry Registry, Single Window, the Statistics Department and the Technical Services will be attended by appointment by calling 968 560 660.
