The Government of Spain, through the Government Delegation in Murcia, has sent 334,000 masks to the Municipalities of the Region.
The Municipality of La Unión will receive 4,000 masks, in order to guarantee the health of the workers who, starting on Monday, April 13, will resume their work activity as they cannot carry it out electronically, ensuring, among other issues, the maximum health measures on the move for work and in places where it is more difficult to maintain personal distance.
Devices from the Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection will participate in the distribution of the masks.
Specifically, it will be on April 13 and 14, when the following distribution points are established:
Guardia Civil: Exit towards the highway through Los Camachos and La Esperanza.
Local Police: Entrance to La Unión through the Sports Center Rotunda and the Red Cross.
Civil Protection: Will distribute in public transport (FEVE and line buses)
Workers may be asked to present the authorization of the company to justify their travel to the job.
This measure is part of the strict limitation of movements in force since the start of the state of alarm and is in line with the priorities and recommendations set by the Ministry of Health.
From La Unión City Council, we ask all residents, and especially those who resume their work, to continue to take precautions and self-protection measures, while also following the hygiene and health recommendations recommended by the health authorities. .
