The Managing Director of Health Area 2 of the Murcian Health Service, Mr.

José Francisco Sedes Romero met this morning with the Mayor of La Unión, Mr.

Pedro López Milan to continue coordinating the actions that the La Unión Health Center , Social Services and the City Council, have been carried out since the pandemic began.The meeting that took place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council was attended by: María Pilar Espejo Garcia Medical Deputy Director for Continuity of Care, María Pilar García Gomez, Deputy Director of Nursing for Continuity of Care, Nuria Isabel Aragón, Medical Coordinator CS La Unión , Alfonso Bolea Hernández, Head of Nursing CS La Unión, Mª Ángeles Alonso Reche, Social Worker CS La Unión, José Jesús Guillén, Head of Public Health Service in the Cartagena Area Center, the Council of Health, Ana María Rodriíguez, the Councilor for Education, Leticia Egea, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Fernando González, the Child of Portmán, Buenaventura Lozano, the Child of Roche, Ginés Luengo, the Chief Officer of the Local Police, Fulgencio Cegarra, the Chief of Civil Protection, Victor M.

Bélmez, and the Coordinator of Social Services,Maria Pérez.Among other issues, the importance of early detection and tracking of people who may be asymptomatic and who must comply with isolation have been emphasized above all.To date, the Municipality of La Unión has reduced its number of infections and we are at an orange level, so the Coordinator of the Health Center has insisted on the need for all citizens to continue to comply with all the established measures.

Special mention has also been made of the great work done by the Local Police and Civil Protection.Both the Manager of Area 2 and the Mayor of La Unión have appreciated the collaboration and effort of all sectors, police, health, civil protection, associations, teachers, etc., involved in the control and care of citizens, insisting on above all in the importance of respecting the mandatory measures to prevent the transmission of the virus.
