[UGT requests the regularization of the contracts of at least eight workers of the public company USM "Uni n de Servicios Municipales SL" (29/12/2020)

From the Local Administration and Community Services sector of the Federation of Employees and Employees of the Public Services of the UGT in the Region of Murcia, we want to express our concern about the situation irregular in the hiring of some of the employees of the public company 'Uni n de Servicios Municipales, SL' who provide their services in the municipality of La Uni n, and that under the previous management had to be regularized as fixed template, something that did not occur. The UGT legal services have begun the procedures prior to the regularization of the contracts of at least 8 workers who would be in this situation and had to be regularized under the previous management.

The previous conciliation act will take place next January.

It is a shame that issues as clear as the hiring conditions must be prosecuted, especially in this public company dependent on the Hon.

City Council of La Union. Say it has, that if these 8 workers were regularized as permanent staff, it would mean an increase in staff that was irregularly providing service to the residents of La Uni ny who under the direction of the previous manager were avoided regularizing. We will continue to denounce all irregularities of which we have knowledge and we ask that the Company's Board of Directors act firmly to regularize these workers, who dragged this situation for several years.

According to statements by the regional head of the Community Services sector in FeSP-UGT, Jos Juan Gonz lez Salas, "We are greatly surprised by the amount of irregularities that we have still been reporting on the management of the former manager the USM, situations that in no way can have a place in a public company of this scope.

We think that the complaints that occurred in this period may be related to the departure of the former manager and the fear that some workers maintained of possible reprisals .
