The candidate number two to the Congress of Deputies, José Luis Martínez today visited the town of Portman, in an act that has been accompanied by Francisco Caparros, number one candidate to Congress by the regional deputies Miguel Sanchez and Luis Fernandez and by several representatives of the Municipal Group C's in La Union.
Martinez stressed that Portman is one of the privileged environment of the Region of Murcia.
"This is an area with significant landscape, environmental and even cultural value that has all the characteristics to put in value as a tourist environment."
C's candidate lamented the lack of solutions of the Popular Party to the situation of Portman Bay and has claimed that "every time they come election time the PP announces that it will regenerate the bay after 26 years.
Experience shows us that the Popular Party government has never shown interest in regenerating the bay, and so we are surprised that again announce that they have hired a company to undertake the work of regeneration and thought it could happen as happened with the company German with whom he agreed several years and finally ended in bankruptcy. "
C`s representatives also visited the area where the fire occurred, now extinct, which has affected 72 hectares.
