The Ministry of Development and Infrastructures allocates more than 335,000 euros to the rehabilitation and reconstruction of housing, as well as to the regeneration of urban centers in La Union, Roche and Portman, within the program of the Urban regeneration and renewal area (ARRU) of the Plan Of Housing 2013-2016.
The director general of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, accompanied by the Mayor of La Union, Pedro López, held yesterday afternoon a meeting with the neighbors to explain the development of the ARRU and the new aid contemplated in the Plan For this year.
The ARRU of this municipality includes the rehabilitation of 164 houses, the reconstruction of a building and redevelopment works in the urban center of La Union, Roche and Portman.
The beneficiary neighbors have received aid of up to 50 percent of the total budget of the action that they have carried out in their homes, with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros.
For the reconstruction works, the citizens have benefited from aid that supposes up to 35 percent of the cost, with a maximum of 30,000 euros for each house in substitution of another already demolished.
Nuria Fuentes and Housing technicians of the Ministry explained to the neighbors all the procedure that they must follow and the documentation that they have to contribute, as well as the deadlines to obtain the aid.
In addition, the director general informed the new Housing Plan, which provides aid of 19 million euros for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of real estate and regeneration of urban areas in some twenty municipalities in the Region.
This Plan will reach more than 8,500 families and will involve the creation of more than 1,500 jobs related to construction.
