Submission draft of the new urban renewal district of San Gil (20/08/2010)

The proposed redevelopment of San Gil will be executed after the completion of rehabilitation works of housing and the demolition of the blocks located on the right side of the neighborhood.

The objective of the action is to appeal this space by getting a better road connection between the streets of San Gil and Real, expanding green areas and generate a large plot dotacional for public facilities.

The progress of the project has been approved by the City of La Union.

The old slaughterhouse building will become the new headquarters of Social Services

It is envisaged that the rehabilitation of the old slaughterhouse building to be completed later this year.
