Investment of 21 million euros in La Union for new projects in 2011 (24/12/2010)

The Union, December 24, 2010.

The mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, today announced a series of major investments in the municipality for 2011, which together amount to 21 million euros, an amount added to the 38 million already invested during this term, will involve a record 59 million euros investment in the period 2007-2011.

The most outstanding projects in 2011 will make building a retirement home, for which it will invest 9 million euros, the complete renewal of the Mining Museum, with 2.6 million investment, the new school in the district of San Gil , by 3.3 million, the comprehensive reform of the High Street, by 1.2 million, a new treatment plant in the village of Portman, by 3.5 million and another as the conditioning of the Industrial Park and various infrastructures.

Chief among these actions will be building a retirement home on the road from The Camachos, against Pius Environmental Park Garden, a complex with capacity for 230 seats, of which 200 are allocated to internal service, while 30 others function as Day Centre
