The Municipal Sports Union today held a spectacular Jura for Civil Flag that has gathered nearly 4,000 spectators and 350 Jurandir, who have passed before the watchful eyes of many civil and military authorities of the General of the Air Force that have moved to the mining town for this event.
The event, which involved 200 cadets of the Academy of General San Javier Air, has begun with the arrival of Major General James unionense Guillen Sanchez, who has chaired the event and have reviewed accompanied by Colonel Director of Academia General del Aire, Juan Antonio Ortega, and the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé.
Subsequently, the event Sunday, the solemnity, has included an emotional tribute to the flag that preceded the oath or promise expected by the 350 civilians who so requested, and have led the mayor unionense, Francisco Bernabé and the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos, Juan Antonio regional deputies Castańol and Francisca Sánchez-Cabrera, and the Municipal Corporation.
After the Flag for Civil Jura has proceeded to honor those who gave their lives for Spain, a ceremony that has been followed by a parade ground and a spectacular parachute jump by nine members of the Parachute School Sewell, the latter of which carried a national flag.
In addition to guests and civil authorities, the swearing of allegiance which was held in La Union has enjoyed the presence of many military guests, such as Colonel Alberto Gallego, Head of Sewer Air Base, Colonel Benjamin Martin, Head of the 5 th Area Civil Guard and the director of the University Center for the Defense of San Javier, Joaquin Roca.
WEEKEND OF THE ARMED FORCES
The Flag for Civil Jura has taken place today in La Union is part of the 'End of Armed Forces Week, an initiative included in the programming of the "Spring Arts IV' of the municipality and that has allowed residents and visitors to enjoy other activities related to the General Body of the Air Force.
