The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, has received in his office to our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the second deputy mayor, Julio Garcia, to discuss various matters within its competence relating to our town.
Specifically, both parties have agreed to give a boost to the processing of the proposed new plant for the village of Portman, whose location is projected on a plot of 15,000 m2 located next to the road N-345 before arrival to the town .
The new facility will be equipped with latest technology and tertiary cycle, allowing water to get absolutely purified and suitable for all purposes.
It has also been tried on the near completion of the construction cycle tertiary treatment plant of La Union planned for this summer, and whose next opening will allow farmers in the municipality can enjoy the best water to irrigate their fields.
