Last Saturday, July 16 the Virgin del Carmen, patroness of the Sea and the Fishermen held its festival in our town with the traditional procession through the town during this time of Portman.

In the procession that started from the Parish of St. James, went to the old port, after which he returned to his temple.

The Virgin was carried on the shoulders of the faithful portmaneros and was sheltered by a large representation of the Municipal Corporation.

The hymns were played by the musical group La Union.
