The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs, John Brown, held a meeting with our Social Services Councillors, Rosa Pagan, Recruitment, María Dolores Barrett, and Deputy Mayor, Salvador Martinez, the object to discuss various issues concerning social policy of our town.
To this end, our elected officials has been exposed to the Director General to articulate the urgent need for concrete actions and measures of support for our town, a major part of whose population is seriously affected by the negative effects of the economic crisis.
Specifically, among other support initiatives which will be specified in short, is contemplated to begin in the coming months paid training courses in electricity, plumbing, landscaping and masonry, especially aimed at those sectors of the population with more level training deficiencies.
