La Tertulia Literary Cafe Mesa Union has awarded its annual awards, the "People's Union" for the year 2010.
The presentation of the winners was held at the House of pinion and also attended our Mayor, Francisco Barnabas, and the Chairman of the Board Café, Federico Garcia Marin.
The winners in this edition were: Entrepreneur, Jose Bueno, Master, Ginés Cabezas, Dentist, Carmen Farraco, General, Santiago Guillen and the Director of Public Works, Antonio Sevilla.
La Tertulia Literary Cafe Mesa Union was founded in 1964 and is the Dean Cultural Association of our town.
Since 1971 awards the prizes of the "People's Union", aimed at distinguishing those persons or entities with their activities have meaning for our town.
The award ceremony will be held on Friday 22 December at 22.00 hours with a dinner to be held in the halls of "La Cartuja", and has confirmed attendance to the President of the Regional Assembly, Francisco Celdrán , then a favorite son also of the Union.
The cost of the meal is 30 € for all interested in attending.
