The Minister of Economy and Finance, Salvador Marin, and the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, today signed an agreement by which the Regional Collection Agency (ARR) will take over the collection of those debts owed to the Consistory, tax or not tax, and the amount accumulated by the debtor exceeds 30 euros.
Thus, "the Ministry intensified its collaborative work with government agencies in the region, contributing to increased efficiency and effectiveness in tax matters," said Marin.
In the case of the City of La Union, the ARR will be responsible for collection management in the executive period of all taxes and other non-tax debts, public fees and other income from public whose ownership corresponds to the Consistory for any reason.
The main advantage for the City is charging a large number of debts that the entity has executive period and that, to date, could not enforce their own means.
Also, these fees benefit the whole population of the Union to provide better services and increase the City municipal investments to grow their revenue.
In fact, the initial charge that the City Council delegate its management in the ARR for the year amounts to approximately 2,580,000 euros.
Marin said that "from the Community are helping to improve the financing of policies developed by local councils, giving them advice and support technician. By signing this agreement, the Agency of the City offers its entire organizational structure, technology and management, allowing you to get a significant increase in the percentage of collection management for the municipality. "
The Agency opens virtual office to the City and its taxpayers, who will benefit from all the telematics management services.
Thus, the unionense can make payments via the Internet and make all kinds of procedures through the Agency's web portal related to collection management.
These procedures are delays and splits, refunds of undue, and other requests for information.
The agreement also guarantees the action to collect debts outside the Region of Murcia under the agreement that the ARR is the State Tax Administration Agency, participating in the procedures for the attachment of Income tax returns, VAT and Companies.
With this agreement, are 34 cooperation agreements signed by the ARR with municipalities in the region.
