Pencho Cros, the voice that has never stopped singing (02/08/2012)

The second day of the Flemish film 'Morning' continues remembering the life of one of the most renowned singers and dear unionenses

The Union runs an echo, a sound severe, pervasive and deep, so deep that still reverberates in the foothills of the Sierra Minera and survives to never leave it, but their source well stopped some years ago.

That sound is none other than the voice of Pencho Cros, the unmistakable tone that has shaken all who have heard and has remained in the idiosyncrasies of the Mining Town.

A unique voice that survives and revives the hands of Miguel Zavala and his documentary 'Keep on singing Pencho', a work that expands to infinity, as an amplifier, the voice of Mining Lamp three times.

A documentary that looks at the life and song of this character only through family, friends and admirers.

These may be people like Archangel, Miguel Poveda, Antonio Piñana, Genesis Garcia, Antonio Parra, Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the coordinator of the Cante de las Minas, Manuel Navarro or Pencho's own son, Joseph Cros.

Among this cast of representatives of culture, politics and society dominated by a common note: no one can hide a smile when they talk about Pencho Cros.

In presenting this documentary produced by the same Zavala Digital Meridian recognizes that this work is "an act of love for the Union, its landscapes, to flamenco and Pencho Cros" and thanking all who have participated in this footage for opening the doors and narrate the adventures of the singer.

Zavala pointed especially to Antonio Fernandez, another of the stars of this video, which Zavala has referred to as a component of this "indissoluble in history", which was the same with Pencho Cros.

Another guest on the second day of the Flemish Film `Morning 'is the writer and friend of Pencho, Enrique Hernandez Luike who underlined that the Union is the people whose friendship and singing has spread throughout the world.

In the documentary Henry himself has acknowledged that "I have spent a great time and I've been excited."

He said Enrique Hernandez, and they have been able to feel those attending this morning evening movie, "thanks to Zavala's voice is still alive Pencho between us."

Keep on singing Pencho because the depth of the mine never stops ringing your voice.
