Socialists call for the immediate convening of the Personnel Board for the government team explain why they failed to pay Social Security during the period October 2011-March 2012.
Socialist spokesman, Mariano Oliver, considered "serious Barnabas has ceased to pay social contributions of public employees for at least six months and has not reported this situation to the Personnel Board."

The Socialist Party of The Union notes that an agreement of the Local Government Board last June 8 agreed to request a postponement to Social Security Treasury of the social security contributions of Council staff for the period October 2011-March 2012, for payment until 30 June 2013, due to lack of liquidity.
Mariano Oliver commented that "it is an example of the mismanagement that Barnabas and the Popular Party is doing in La Union, because nobody has explained that money for parties, protocol and other entertainment events, and while they are leaving without paying Social security contributions of municipal workers for six months. "
At the time, the Socialist spokesman claimed "the urgent call of the Personnel Board and the opposition parties to Barnabas details of its current situation which is the payment of social insurance of municipal workers, the total debt with Social Security and why it has come to this. "
