UPyD calls "disproportionate and excessive" rising water rates in La Union (14/11/2012)

UPyD in La Union has criticized the "disproportionate and excessive" rise in the rate of water, sewer and garbage "that have begun to bear unionenses families, already hit with cuts, price rises and the VAT and wage cuts ".

The rise comes after the privatization of the company and award Acciona.

Training magenta noted that the rise is higher than what the City Council has declared.

In this regard, have cited the manager of admissions by Acciona in La Union, Daniel Rodriguez, who gave the example that "for a consumption of 15 cubic meters, the bill has gone from 48.32 to 65.52 euros," while that if water consumption is 20 cubic meters, "from 54.64 to 79.37 euros."

"These figures are quite superior to 18% rise declaring PP municipal government."

Although they pointed out that even if an increase of 18% "we'd be talking about an increase almost 6 times higher than the CPI last year."

UPyD in The Union pointed out that the figure of 18% would be an average of the increases, including bonuses, but in practice, families will be buffed its water consumption rate by about 100%.

To UPyD in La Union, the measure carried out by Barnabas and PP, clearly shows the lack of social sensitivity towards all neighbors of his municipality as this "sharp increase" in rates is unaffordable for most of unionenses households.
