The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in the context of the operation called "LITTLE" developed to clarify a wave of crimes against property in La Union, has dismantled a young band who was investigated after the fact.

It has also been arrested the 17 members of the criminal group, four of them children, have been clarified 150 property crimes committed since last summer, and have seized tools supposedly used by detainees in their criminal activity.

The Civil Guard, upon learning of the significant increase in crimes against property in La Union, a circumstance that created alarm among the population, began an investigation in order to reach your clarification and, in turn, to prevention of new ones.

In the first investigation, officers were able to determine that after the theft was investigated a large group of young people, mostly residents of La Union, who met in a particular place in the town to plan their plans.

The various monitoring and surveillance devices allowed to fully identify and locate all the band members and expose their structure and acting illegally.

Modus operandi

The studied group consisted of twenty young and leading it three.

He was seated in the Union and met in a particular place in the city called "The Point", where planned their crimes and use marijuana.

Their criminal activity is generally focused on the commission of crimes against property, such as robberies, thefts and damage to vehicles, which subtracted valuables such as money, mobile phone handsets, documentation, stereos, computer equipment, small valuables and tools, which were distributed after the illegal market.

After obtaining all necessary evidence, last Friday was developing the operational phase of the operation, consisting of a dozen agents of the Guardia Civil and Local Police Union, which proceeded to the location and arrest of 17 members of the band.

Also held the entry and search at the home of one of the ringleaders, where tools were seized allegedly used in the robberies, stolen effects and marijuana cultivation and ready for distribution and consumption.

Detainee

The operation has resulted in the arrest of 17 people, four of them children, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of conspiracy, burglary and theft in vehicle interiors, damage and drug trafficking, identified as:

- Spanish, age 21 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, 26 year-old resident of La Union.

- Spanish, 23 year-old resident of La Union.

- Spanish, 20-year-old resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, 19 and neighboring La Union.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 21 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 20 and resident of Cartagena.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Spanish, age 18 and resident of La Union.

- Four minors.

Most of those arrested have a history of committing similar crimes.

Effects seized:

In operation, the Civil Guard has had the active cooperation of the local police in La Union.

The operation is still open, not ruling out new actions and arrests.
