The Union again tomorrow celebrate Santa Barbara (03/12/2012)

Tomorrow December 4, our town again celebrate the feast of St. Barbara, patroness of Mining, recovering in this way for many decades that was our big day locally.

All scheduled events are free and the City Council invites our neighbors to participate in them in order to pay tribute to the memory of generations of miners who forged our identity as a people and culture.

The programming is as follows:

10.00 pm: Start of Open Day in the Mining Park, with free admission for all citizens unionenses.

For visits, and given that they are always made by guided groups, is the prerequisite register beforehand in the Tourist Office, located in the Casa de Pinon, from Monday to Friday from 9 to 14 hours.

11:30 am: In the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Mass in honor of Minera Santa Barbara, with interpretations flamenco cante Encarnación Fernández and Antonio Muñoz Fernandez on guitar.

When completed, a large fireworks shot against the temple.

12.30: In the Plaza Joaquín Costa, wreath in memory and memory of all the miners of La Union, with a Grand Barrenazo shot behind it.

13.00: In the Hall of the House of the pinion, the cultural event "Mineral Resources of the Region of Murcia."

Throughout the morning there and rocket fire by Musical Parade Band Drums Musical Association of San Juan and the Virgen de la Soledad.
