The Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC) has expressed its unequivocal support for the two major strategic projects that are going to start developing in our town during 2013.
This has put our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, both COEC President, Pedro Pablo Hernández, as key members of its Board of Directors, in the workshop held during the institution's corporate headquarters.
In this regard, employers have confirmed their unanimous support for the Regional Strategic Project Portman, whose details have been known for our mayor, trusting that the firm commitment towards sustainable tourism and high quality that is to be performed in the environment our bay is a shock ahead of important overall wealth and jobs throughout the region.
In the same vein, the draft of the new Logistics Action Zone (LAZ) of Cartagena, which is expected to require the creation of new industrial development zones linked to port traffic between the cities of Cartagena and La Union has been given special analysis by the undoubted importance and beneficial that such action will mean for both locations.
