The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, recently received the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, to discuss various issues concerning the municipality, of which highlighted the celebration of the centenary of the Christ of the Miners in 2013.

In this same line of heritage conservation, treated on the processing status of the new record for the Sierra Minera statement as a Cultural (BIC), which once determined, shall include the Protected Cultural Landscape.
