The Delegate of the Government of Spain in the region of Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, reiterated its strong support for large strategic projects that are being raised in relation to our town, such as the regeneration of Portman Bay and the development of new Logistics Performance Zone (LAZ) linked to the port of Cartagena.
This has put Bascuñana to our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, in the workshop they both have remained at the headquarters of the Government Delegation in Murcia and is part of the regular round usually contacts between the two leaders.
Similarly, it has been about the evolution of public safety in our city and the positive result that has led to these effects the recent raid starring Civil Guard in collaboration with the local police.
In this sense, both also concurred on the proper role of the new van equipped with radar and breathalyzer, and was transferred to the City Council a few months ago by the Provincial Traffic, good service being paid to security work and monitoring provided by our city police.
