Last night, before the doors of the House of the pinion, the traditional ceremony took place the call, like all Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and Holy Week events.
For this reason the Big Brother of the Brotherhood of Christ of Miners, Sunday Alajarín, asked permission to take the traditional processions in the street, which as usual was granted by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé.
After that, people gathered parade moved to the temple of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the pastor and chaplain of the Brotherhood, Antonio Jose Carbonero, imposed ashes on the foreheads of all present.
The ceremony was also attended by all the councilors of the government team, the officers of the Brotherhood and the Presidents of the Associations accompanied by their respective boards.
On Saturday February 16, at 21.00 h, the halls of the Villa Mayor are the show which celebrates the Guild's annual dinner, which will be presented in the poster for this year, work on this occasion of the Mar Hernández painter, and in which the various groups shall also deliver awards to outstanding members.
On the other hand, also took place yesterday afternoon at Portman poster presentation of the Easter of this town, at a meeting held in the parish hall and which was attended by the mayor, Francisco Bernabé, the village headman, Jose Luis Rubi, Associations councilors, Mary Hermogenes, Social Services, Rosa Pagan, Finance, Ginés Raja, and Pedanía Barrios, Salvador Martinez, and the pastor, Marcelo Ndong, and representatives of the guilds portmaneras, who received the check with the municipal subsidy for the processions.
