About 200 people, including adults and children, participated last Saturday morning in environmental cleaning day in the hamlet of El Chorrillo.
Over 100 kilos of garbage were removed by neighbors who joined the initiative individually and by group representatives Scout Our Lady of Sorrows, Youth Red Cross, Knights of St. Barbara, the Peña Hikers The Union, the Moto Club La Union, Roller Masters, all led by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, who was accompanied by several members of the Municipal Corporation and the direct support of Civil Protection.
From City citizens are reminded of the need to maintain clean Chorrillo among all if we want to enjoy it in the conditions you deserve a beautiful place and it costs very little removal of litter and waste instead of leaving them scattered and deposited there as if outside a dumpster.
The protection and care of the environment is everyone's responsibility.
