The Head of Environment IU-Greens in the Region of Murcia, Victoria Rodriguez, today expressed doubts about the "new flagship project" of a company to regenerate the Portman Bay at no cost to the Administration in exchange for removing iron buried .
Rodriguez has said that the new project comes "after so many years of delay, to truncate the hopes of the population in what can be considered one of the biggest environmental crime in history".
He assured that the announcement of this project, "we must be cautious", and that regeneration is "a pending public administrations and has traveled thousands of offices with the alleged loss of documents".
He indicated that if the project goes ahead, the Administration "will be free of his responsibility as the company that polluted", after which he recalled that in the case of extractive work, it will take the relevant procedures, which " once again "delay the regeneration of the bay.
He also claims that "have to know in depth the project to see if it really has been claimed over the years".
