Recently gathered at the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Cartagena Vice AECC, Antonio M.
García Carreño, and the President of the Yacht Club of Portman, Isaac Calventus Blas.
Mr. Isaac nominated Mr. Garcia that the next edition of the Regatta Cartagena Portman, Carbide Silver Trophy, is integral to this Association, Board decision at Portman Yacht Club at its last meeting which was approved unanimously by all managers.
Mr. Garcia, gladly accepted this decision and was glad of it, indicating that in these times, we need this kind of solidarity with all the people in need and at the same time said that we are the first Yacht Club throughout the Region Murcia in collaboration with the Association.
Mr. Isaac said that this humble Club, has for two years doing this work and in previous years collaborated with ASTRAPACE (Association for the Treatment of People with Cerebral Palsy and Related Pathologies) and ASID (Association for Comprehensive People with Down Syndrome) and policy of this club is to help the needy.
The next edition of the regatta will be held the first weekend of June next year.
