The Union created the first free zone business Flamenco worldwide (17/12/2013)

The Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, today signed an agreement with the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, making this locality 'Entrepreneur Municipality' and involves the implementation of a series of activities to promote the creation and development of business activities in La Union, Portman and Roche.

The agreement about eight lines of action which are specified in more than 50 measures, which, as noted by the Minister Ballesta, "aimed at promoting unity of action between different administrations, regional and local articulates, which are coordinated effectively and efficient for boosting economic growth and creating jobs. "

It is therefore to develop comprehensive policies to promote entrepreneurship, support for SMEs and entrepreneurs, while a set of actions aimed at facilitating business creation and development of job-creating initiatives developed by two commitments fundamental: administrative simplification and access to finance.

In addition, a series of actions referred to awaken the entrepreneurial vocation from schools, and to update the perception that society has of the entrepreneur.

Sources of self-employment in the municipality are also identified and attracting potential entrepreneurs are expected.

In this regard, Francisco Bernabé recalled that in 2014 take effect in our town, promoted by the Department of Economic Development and Employment Antonio Liarte directing two very important initiatives for the business sector, such as the ordinance of financial support to entrepreneurs and the opening of new business incubator, which will bring the generation of new jobs without any doubt.

Also, as a special novelty, the agreement provides that the Union is to be created, shown by the enormous appeal of Cante de las Minas, the first free zone business Flamenco worldwide, which will, within legal limits maximum, exemption from taxes or duties to any commercial activity related to flamenco to be installed in the town, as artistic companies, businesses or fashion accessories, musical instrument makers, merchandising, musical productions, hotels, etc.., all of which will involve the creation of wealth and jobs around our cultural icon par excellence.
