Today was presented the new website of the City of La Union, which was established with the aim of being a useful and accessible tool for all citizens in relations with this administration.
Our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, wanted to congratulate the Municipal Computer Engineer, Javier Castejón, for the great work done in the same since its design and construction has been done by it.
Barnabas wanted to emphasize the great importance of new technologies and now with this new Web will be able to complete all formalities as may be required to address the City Council level, at the same time have a great platform projection the attractions of our town.
The main new features are:
Designed on the latest web standards, HTML 5 and CSS 3.
It is a web 2.0, integrated with the major social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube).
It has modernized the design and structure of the web, in order to facilitate access to information by citizens.
It has been reorganized and updated the information contained in the web.
It has a directory of companies and associations through which businesses can advertise the municipality (if they see fit).
Interactive calendar where major events are shown.
Mobile version of the website, to facilitate access to breaking news and content on the municipal website from any device.
Improved search engine web content.
Added a system related news, facilitating follow-up news.
Internal improvements for ease of management and maintenance.
