The Socialist Party of The Union claims that the municipal government team rejected a motion (26/03/2014)

Socialists indicate that the motion was presented for discussion at the next plenary in late March, and again Team Popular Party government has demonstrated its opposition insensitivity to all citizens who are forced to leave Spain for labor, to train or study, due to the lack of opportunity in our country.

The PSOE La Union comment that "Law 22/2013 of 23 December on the State Budget 2014, introduced a new requirement for people who have exhausted the benefit or unemployment benefits or other performance of a similar nature may be entitled to health care, to "reside in Spain."

The socialist state that "The new requirement affects the Spaniards who have exhausted benefits of unemployment protection system, who are now required residence in Spain to maintain their health card, to the clear detriment of the right of citizenship and right to health protection guaranteed by Article 43 of the Constitution. ".

So, they complain that "the PP will not simply exiling thousands of Spanish for lack of opportunity in our country, but also punishable by the loss of the right to health care if they remain outside the country more 90 days, although it is to find work, to train or study, as in an Erasmus ".

The Socialists also state that the motion presented by the Socialist Municipal Group and rejected by the government team's Party provided the following points:

The City of La Union urge the Government of Spain to repeal all legal provisions prevent the maintenance and / or recovery of the provision of health services to the Spaniards who, retaining his residence in Spain, staying abroad more than 90 days during each calendar year.

That while not repealed by the Government of Spain the rules relating to, urge the Government of the Autonomous Community of Murcia to not remove the card and healthcare to Spaniards who are unemployed and spend more than 90 days out of Spain.

The City of La Union urges the Governments of Spain and the Autonomous Community of Murcia to the recognition of universal access to free public health care.
