Tomorrow, Saturday April 12, from 19:00, will start on the Cross of Christ spectacular Miners through the Sierra Minera of La Union, undoubtedly one of the most special processions that can live throughout the Region of Murcia for the uniqueness decorating it.
The procession will start from the Mina Group Vicenta in the Mining Park of La Union, and the Crucified will be transferred on a stretcher by the faithful along the legendary Road 33, the main mining route de la Sierra, up to La Union thence to the Temple of Our Lady of the Rosary.
In the words of our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, it is "the quintessential moment in which the identification between the religiosity of the people of La Union with its mining roots plasma, as there is more emotional moment to do down to our Christ among the old mines at dusk, with the Peak Rajao the bottom and carrying the same carbons carrying miners to light your step. "
Have already confirmed their attendance the Chief of the Maritime Action Force, Salvador Delgado, Admiral and Admiral Cartagena Arsenal, Fernando Zumalacárregui, who will chair the procession accompanied by our Mayor and Brother of the Brotherhood of Christ of Miners Domingo Alajarin, which will be wrapped up by the members of the Municipal Corporation, the Bureau of the Brotherhood of the various groupings and all lovers of the Union and its overall Minera Holy Week.
