The Union enjoyed a beautiful day yesterday in honor of its patron, starting with morning Mass in honor of the Virgen del Rosario.
The religious ceremonies of the day were especially emotional and were officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese, Don Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, who was accompanied by a large number of priests who wanted to accompany the Virgin and the people of La Union on this day so Special.
The Eucharist, attended by many children and neighbors dressed in traditional dress for the offering to our patron, had liturgical hymns sung by the Choir Argentum.
Then, on Main Street, residents also enjoyed the Fair Day and two giant sartenadas crumbs, which filled the fairgrounds of people wanting to participate in this festive day.
There were many locals and visitors who wanted the evening to accompany the Virgin of the Rosary in the procession, escorted by the marches played by the musical group La Union.
After a short walk through the streets of La Union, Save the Virgin, the National Anthem and a beautiful fireworks display in honor of our patron put an end to the religious acts.
After them, it was continued at the fairgrounds with the activities planned by the Department of Celebration directed by María Hermogenes, closing with the great Gala Variety that delighted fans of Spanish song.
