It has been closed the course organized by the Association of Families and Women in Rural Areas (AFAMMER) in collaboration with the Department of Social Services City of La Union.
The event took place in the municipal area and attended Young Councillor of Social Services, Rosa Pagan and the President of the Association AFAMMER, Carmen English, who congratulated the students who have followed this training with great success.
The course, called "Green Productions: horticulture, medicinal and aromatic plants" has the general objective to equip participants with the necessary knowledge in the field of organic production in order to retrain professionally professionals offering alternatives to traditional agriculture .
The theoretical content that has been developed is as follows:
Organic gardening: association of crops, how to control pests in organic farming
Organic Fruit Growing: foundations
Production of small fruits (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.)
