The BOE publishes today the tender for the work of regeneration and environmental soundness of Portman Bay, amounting to 59.5 million (23/07/2015)

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, today stressed the importance of the bidding for the work of regeneration and environmental soundness of Portman Bay, published today in the Official Gazette, which "goes a step further to achieve full recovery of this natural enclave ".

The tender, for a total of 59.5 million and a lead time of 46 months, is part of a total regeneration performance driving together the Government of Spain and the regional government, which "are dumps to recover the natural state, while protecting and enhancing of this bay located in the Union ".

Interested parties may submit bids until next September 3, and two months later procedará opening them.

In this process it is assessed as improving the use or recovery of mined ore, which will affect the total cost of the works.

The work includes the development of design and execution of the dredging of sterile deposited in the bay to delay the actual coastline of 250 meters, as the landfilling activity altered its location, which stands today at 550 meters from the original shore line.

Priority in advance the comprehensive regeneration of Portman

The port also include user services to ensure proper functioning, as dock, captain, yacht club, restaurants and commercial buildings, access roads, parking, green areas and pedestrian walkways, contributing to its recovery.
