The Governing Council met today in the municipality of La Union has approved the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Autonomous Community of Murcia and Technology Center and the Naval Sea for co-financing construction of a headquarters building for technology center said.
With the signing of this agreement, the Ministry of Science and Innovation will provide the amount of 501,913 euros from European FEDER funds and the regional government 215,105 euros, representing a total of 717,019 euros.
The total construction cost amounts to 2,402,169 euros, of which 1,685,149 have been executed, under another agreement signed in 2005, the date on which the regional government contributed 720,650 euros to fund the headquarters.
The headquarters building for the Naval Technology Center and the Sea is situated on a plot of 2,020 square meters located in the Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Alamo.
The building will be used to integrate management activities, research and technological development for the marine industry, maritime and related industries.
