The Road of 33 will be part of a great trail that runs along the Mediterranean coast (23/10/2008)

The Highway 33, La Union has received the approval of the Mountaineering Federation of Murcia to become a short-distance path, whose number is PR-MU assigned 88.

With a distance of 7 miles and takes approximately 2 hours, your itinerary starts at the railway station of La Union, continue on Highway 33 and ends at the port of Portman.

The PR-88 MU Path part of a long distance (over roads 50 km) known as GR-92.

The GR-92 runs along the Mediterranean coast of Egypt to Cadiz.

The promoter of the approval for the Highway 33 is the City of La Union through the Youth Council run by Antonio Liard, while the signaling process path will be conducted by the Roller Mountaineering Club Master of the mining town.

Similarly, the above club will publish a brochure detailing the features of the trail unionense.

Remember that the Highway 33 will be fitted as part of an ambitious tourism project built around the mine Groups Vicenta.

The visit of the mine will be an added incentive for those traveling on the path, creating a tourist offer that combine nature, sports and knowledge of the mining heritage of La Union.

Looking ahead, the local Mountaineering Club plans to open a variant that enables cross the Sierra Minera.
