Francisco Bernabé, Mayor of La Union, together with the first mayors of Los Alcazares and Beniel, and Francisco Sanchez, Provincial Director of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), signed in the morning, a cooperation agreement to facilitate access to citizens of those localities of the services offered by the Institute.

Rafael González Tovar, representative of Government, presided over the signing of the agreement.

The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, expressed his "satisfaction with the implementation of an Office of the National Institute of Social Security in our town after many years" after they "closed the previous Office, which should never have happened. "

Barnabas emphasizes "the comfort that will not have to go to Cartagena for any transaction, which, henceforth, be managed from our city."

This agreement stems from the aim of bringing local people management bodies of public administration.

To this end, both councils and the INSS conducted information dissemination activities and training activities, it will launch a Municipal Bureau of attention and information, and simplifying administrative procedures.

A major point of agreement on the municipality of La Union, concerning the implementation by the council of a municipal office of care and information, which has the following functions:

Providing an overview of the Social Security system.

Receive and send to the Center for Information and Social Security of Cartagena, the Documents for the Institute submitted by citizens.

Providing information to stakeholders on the status of their cases and working life managed by the National Institute of Social Security.

For its part, the National Social Security Office will provide the municipal technical information necessary for the performance of their duties, in addition to making available the information they need from the files of users and a hotline to personal service of the Office, may request an overview of the issues that are raised by the citizens of its scope.

In addition, the Office will have the publications and brochures to edit the INSS, for their information and dissemination to users of the Office.
