The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, presented the program of Cultural Activities, "Union Road Making", to be held in the town from November 27 to December 4.
There will be eight full days of cultural events intended to celebrate a triple anniversary: 140 years of the name Villa de La Union, 150 th anniversary of the end of the road Cartagena - La Union and the main street of the mining town, as well as the 75 years of the construction of Road 33.
Francisco Bernabé, after making a tour of all the events planned, encouraged all residents of La Union to enjoy some days in which "provide historical memory of this town," while emphasizing "the complete program designed, to arouse the interest of all. "

The cultural agenda will be officially opened on Thursday 27 November, from 20:45 hours, the president of the Regional Assembly, the unionense Francisco Celdran.
The inauguration will be followed by days of intense cultural, which will accommodate lectures, concerts, exhibitions, tributes and flamenco recitals.
One of the most anticipated moments of the Cultural Week will come to the concert offered by the December 3, the last lamp Mining International Festival of Cante de las Minas, Rocío Márquez.
All events will take place on the City Hall of La Union from 20:30.
