The housing minister supports rehabiliación San Gil (11/12/2008)

The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the Minister of Housing, Beatriz Corredor, and the Director of Public Works of the Autonomous Community, José Ballesta, have signed at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government, a collaboration agreement for the rehabilitation integral in the neighborhood of San Gil.

The second phase project includes the rehabilitation of buildings and houses in the neighborhood, affecting a total of 48 buildings, works, recovery of structural elements of buildings, accessibility, adequacy of common elements and habitable housing.

The total cost of these activities amounts to € 1,500,000.00, taken from the regional administration.

In addition, there will be improvements to infrastructure and urbanization in the environment of the district.

The investment from the Ministry of Housing for this purpose reached another 330,000, € 00.
