The Hall of the City of La Union has welcomed the presentation of The Union Press, a new monthly publication dedicated to local information.
The event was attended by the Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco, and Director of The Union Press, Concha Albaladejo.
The Press Union comes from the private initiative of four entrepreneurs, excited to launch a journalistic project that provides information, preferably, on the Union, and the District of Cartagena and the Region.
The publication will have a monthly and free.
The distribution will be done in the following locations: City of La Union, Health Center of La Union, the protector of the local Garbanzal the Roche Community Center and the League of Neighbors Portman.
On Tuesday those responsible for publishing the newspaper delivered to the neighbors to visit the traditional weekly market.
The first issue will have a circulation of 2000 copies.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, wished "every success to this exciting initiative which is again having a newspaper devoted to the Union after 80 years," encouraging citizens to "come to a newspaper that reflects the day day of our city. "
For its part, the Director of Press Union, Concha Albaladejo, has made a detailed overview of the contents of the first issue of the publication (local information, activities of associations and groups, sports, business, etc), besides presenting the whole his team.
Albaladejo has expressed "great enthusiasm with which we have undertaken this project to demonstrate the potential of the Union", stressing that it is "an independent publication that will keep citizens informed of the activities carried out here, trying to contribute with interesting initiatives positive and serve to generate optimism for better days for our city. "
