Local Police Union celebrated the feast of its patron, Saint Patrick, with an official ceremony that took place in the Auditorium of the Casa del Pinon, City Hall of La Union.
The event was chaired by the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, and the Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, Javier Iniesta.
They have also taken part in the official event, the City Council of Interior, Juana Sanchez, Local Police Officer of La Union, Fulgencio García Cegarra and the Chief Commissioner of the National Police of Cartagena and the Civil Guard Captain in Cartagena , among other officials.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, congratulated the local police commemoration of their feast, while emphasizing "the outstanding work you do."
According to Barnabas, "to improve working conditions and the expansion of the workforce is a testament to the commitment of this government team with the local police."
Finally, the Mayor said the significant progress that "will involve the relocation of the local police to its new premises in the building Progress, something will happen during this year."
"These new and modern facilities, wider and existing functionality, will enable professionals to develop their work in the best possible conditions."
For its part, the Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, Javier Iniesta, has been proud of "service offered by the local police in the Region of Murcia, as well as indicating" the importance of providing the best means to Local police, a situation that is occurring in La Union through the efforts of the Mayor. "
In this sense, Iniesta has stated that "the new patrol car, as well as the headquarters to be inaugurated during this year, representing an investment of 220,000 €.
During the official ceremony to celebrate the feast of St. Patrick, seven local police officers have been honored with a diploma, in consideration of the merits made by his distinction and exemplary service.

Daniel Lorca Caparros.
Local Police Union has, at present, with 34 troops on its staff.
