The works for improving urban pavement several streets in the urban center of the town have already started.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, stated that "the execution of these works will impact on improving road safety and comfort for all neighbors."
The renovation and paving of the street race in Irun and San Fajardo streets Evaristo, Rail, Reed, Reeds, Castillejos, Goya, cloth, Triangle, Fuentes, Torrijos, Tejera, Peñaranda, Acapulco, Portman, Parador, Engineers, Molino, Triana , Trail, Road connecting Balart and Quintana and connection between Máiquez and Almond Street has been awarded to the company Trecarsa at a cost of € 124,800.
The deadline for execution of work is four months.
This action falls within the Municipal Investment Plan 2008-2010 that promotes the City of La Union.
The project also includes improving road safety through the introduction of road markings and vertical signals.
Irun Race Street is a communications hub between the south and north of the town of La Union, since it connects the street with the streets and Real Murcia, and the N-332.
On the other hand, is also going to undertake the paving of the streets Guzmán el Bueno, Enrique Orozco, Paquera de Jerez, Barrio de Las Oliveras, Clavijo, Alum, Goths, Melilla Plaza Isabel La Católica and Doctors Rodriguez Barrionuevo.
The works have been awarded to the company Levante SL Promosa amounting € 89,545.
The deadline for the completion of these works, belonging to the Municipal Investment Plan 2008-2010 of the City of La Union, is five months.
