González Tovar and the mayor of La Union placed the first stone of 2 sports pavilions and the construction of the new ethnological museum (21/07/2009)

The Union, July 21, 2009 .- The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, along with the mayor of Union, Francisco Bernabé, have this morning, the first stones of Roche's sports pavilions and Portman.

They have also visited the site of the new Museum of Ethnology, which are made under the Local Investment Fund.

The sports center of Roche is an investment of 550,000 euros and created 35 jobs.

This action involves the construction of the arena covered, as well as other services: access and control area, changing rooms, toilets, storage of sports equipment, nursing, environmental adaptation and access to adjacent buildings.

Have subsequently visited the site where it will house the new Museum of Ethnology in Roche, which have a budget of EUR 150,000.01 and have created 6 new jobs. This project involves the rehabilitation of a building that will increase the tourism potential and cultural environment.

Finally, the Government Delegate and the Mayor of La Union have laid the foundation stone of a sports cover at Portman, with a budget of the Local Investment Fund of 700,000 euros and employs 44 people.

In addition to including all the necessary facilities for sports, has a number of local government services, namely, dependence for the local police unit for Local Development Agent and boardroom for Mayor headman.

The Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, recalled that the City of La Union will carry out 10 projects funded in full by the Local Investment Fund for a total of 2,915,173.99 euros, with which have created 157 jobs, 7.5% more than the 146 originally planned.

Of these, 71 are newly created and 86 of persons within the successful tenderers.

Tovar González pointed out that these works were selected by the City Council and subsequently approved by the Government Delegation in the first instance, and the then Ministry of Public Administration later.

He also noted that the Government of Spain has already paid the City of La Union 70% of 10 works, which involved an investment of EUR 2,021.318.12.

The remaining 30% is paid once will justify the end of work each.

Moreover, Gonzalez Tovar reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 41 municipalities in the region EUR 158,594,813, corresponding to 616 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.

Likewise, the delegate explained that the number of jobs created and financed the works awarded the Local Investment Fund, which to date have already created 12,508 jobs, of these, 4,040 are newly created, and 8,468 of persons within the successful tenderers.

The Government delegate pointed out that the Region of Murcia has been the recipient of 246.3 M € of this fund and once the presentation phase of projects, 673 projects submitted were approved by the 45 municipalities in the region.

Vicenta Collaborative Groups

González Tovar has indicated its satisfaction with the smooth running of the Centre of Interpretation of the history of mining which will host the mine Groups Vicenta de La Union, a project that was funded by a third by the Government of Spain, through the Secretary of State Tourism, with the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

He has also pointed out that this intervention is part of the 7 Revitalization Plan that the state finances with a contribution of 4.9 million euros, for actions in the region of the Northwest, the Northeast, Highland, La Union the Mar Menor, Lorca and the Gap Warehouse.
