In the building of the Casa del Pinon, has acted today to present the poster and the agenda of forthcoming festivity of Our Lady of the Rosary, to be held in La Union in the coming days 2 to 12 October 2009.
The event, which was chaired by the Mayor, has had the presence of the Councillor of Celebration, Mary Hermogenes of the poster, Antonio Meroño (Jayam) and Queens and the Festival in the categories of Child Junior and Senior.
The poster, great artwork on Antonio Meroño, specified in various snapshots highly significant elements of our parties, such as images of our Patron, the unionenses in the middle of fun, fireworks and logo of our parties, the traditional castle.
As regards programming, it is characterized by the variety, diversity and amenity of the many events planned, all free of charge, and in which, among others, can enjoy concerts, festivals, exhibitions, tributes, sports, popular foods and so much more.
The epicenter of the festivities will be located on Main Street and the Plaza Joaquín Costa, who these days are transformed into a giant fairground in which a score of festive Peñas (absolute record of participation) act as the main engine and revulsive of playfulness that pervades throughout this time the streets of La Union.
