The PSOE "still committed to the regeneration of Portman and the recovery of the Sierra Minera" (16/10/2009)

PSRM general secretary of the Union and spokesman for the Socialist municipal local council, Mariano Oliver said today unequivocally that "the Socialist Party is still committed to the regeneration of the Portman Bay and the recovery of the Sierra Minera ".

Oliver was speaking after a working meeting on the situation of the regeneration project Portman Bay, attended by national representatives of PSRM-PSOE Mariano Fernández Bermejo, Javier García Marble and Sarah and several councilors socialist of La Union.

Mariano Oliver explained that "we continue with that firm and decided that we have been proving for years since the signing of the agreement of 2006 which were reflected the obligations and commitments of the three government agencies: local, regional and central."

"No one can doubt the commitment that the PSOE has always had with the regeneration of the Portman Bay."

Socialist spokesman in the city of La Union added that "we also clear that Valcárcel must decide whether to bid for the project Gorguel or by the regeneration of the Portman Bay, because of its proximity may jeopardize the recovery of Portman Bay. "

According to Oliver, "that is the point where it should be placed attention, in which Valcárcel clarify which of the two projects is that they bet."

"While this statement occurs, we will continue investing in the regeneration of the Portman Bay and being next to the neighbors so that regeneration takes place," he concluded.
