Rosique: "The performance of the PP and IU with the motion on the regeneration of Portman Bay shows that the objective is not to find solutions but to clip the PSOE" (17/11/2009)

The regional deputy Rosique Teresa lamented the intent demonstrated this morning by PP and IU, to file a joint motion in which the State demanded the regeneration of the Portman Bay without waiting for the pronouncement of the PSOE in this regard.

Socialist MP explained that mid-morning today has received in the office of the Socialist parliamentary group, a motion drafted and signed jointly by both groups, raising the possibility to subscribe to the PSOE.

The surprise came when, without waiting for an answer have proceeded to registration in the House.

Rosique indicated that this action shows more of a partisan maneuver in order to make a clip to the PSOE.

"If the purpose of this motion would have been really reach a consensus for the regeneration of Portman Bay, had tried to reach an agreement and would expect a response.

And they have not done one thing or another. "

Valcárcel clear definition

For the PSOE surprising that such a motion does not require the regional government and specifically President Valcárcel, a "clear definition of the Container Port project in El Gorguel, aware as they are, that regeneration Portman Bay is incompatible with the location of such infrastructure in the area. "

Rosique Teresa also asked how many times the PP Aznar demanded during his 8 years of government in Spain to undertake such regeneration, "because in those eight years was not absolutely nothing and the PP fell."

He clarified that the boost to the regeneration of the Bay and the Sierra Minera Portman began arriving José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero to the Government of Spain, commitment remains firm and whose actions have been used since about 10 million euros. "

Socialist MP added that "from the PSRM continue to work with responsibility and commitment to speeding up the regeneration of the Bay, regardless of partisan maneuvers and stratagems like that has happened this morning at the Regional Assembly."
