Have initiated work on the comprehensive reform and improvement of Portman Avenue, in the section between the new roundabout located across from the cemetery and the start of the main street of La Union.

The project involves the comprehensive renewal of the asphalt road and the construction of new sidewalks, noting, among other improvements, the construction of a new roundabout at the junction of the current Lazareto to facilitate access to this place and the cemetery in our town.

The job has a deadline of three months and its final cost is 300,000 euros, of which 265,000 are provided by the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region and the rest by the City.

The Mayor stressed the importance of further improving the main access road of the municipality and from the point of view of aesthetics as for road safety.

Also added in the coming months will also start the arrangements of the Avenue of The Heel, with a new bike path included in her area of La Esperanza and the new roundabout in front of the municipal sports center and the Avenue of the Mediterranean, space located between the new roundabout in front of the Red Cross station and the suburb of Santa Barbara (New Homes).
